Shansino App Design
A platform that helps retail stores increase customer engagement and sales by creating quick, exciting in-store game campaigns -such as spin-the-wheel or quiz challenges- with printable QR codes and auto-validated discount coupons.
- Role: Product Designer & Product Manager
- Tools: Figma, Notion, FigJam
- Timeline: Nov 2025
Problem
Traditional in-store marketing relies on static banners, generic discounts, and low-engagement interactions. Store owners want a simple, low-cost way to create instant excitement at the point of purchase, but:
- they cannot build digital experiences themselves,
- developers are expensive,
- and customers rarely interact with traditional promotions.
Goal
Design a platform that allows business owners to:
- Create spin-the-wheel or quiz-based games in minutes
- Print a QR code to place inside the store
- Reward customers with auto-generated coupon codes
- Validate each coupon through the platform after customers redeem them
All in a simple, non-technical workflow.
What I Did
- Defined user needs and designed the core game-creation flows.
- Created high-fidelity UI for both game types.
- Designed the QR flow, coupon system, and merchant-side dashboard.

Final UI
Working on Shansino helped me deepen my understanding of how emotions shape financial behavior, and how design can transform something stressful—like expense tracking—into a friendly, empowering experience. Through user interviews and iterative testing, I learned the importance of keeping flows simple, reducing cognitive load, and using visual cues to build trust. Designing for shared expenses also highlighted how small UX details can significantly reduce friction between people. Overall, this project strengthened my ability to translate real user pain points into practical, intuitive solutions, and it reinforced my belief that thoughtful product design can meaningfully improve everyday habits.
